Phillip has developed a mindfulness practice focused on the idea of "starting over".

Having to start over is often viewed as a defeat. Yet, when under the eye of mindfulness, it is a profound practice all in itself. This is just as true "in life" as to your breath, returning again and again, on the cushion.

Too often, we are caught up in our past, our fears, problems, regrets and disappointments. We desperately want to be free of the old habits and the "ties that bind," so that we can experience more peace, serenity, joy and fulfillment. To shift old patterns and habits, they must be altered one moment at a time, over and over again.

Phillip Moffitt gives talks and workshops on this subject and teaches the tools to practice this way of living.
